"Recovery 101 Webinar Workshop Series Part 1:  Behaviors of Addiction"

This webinar is part of a four part series. Ginger Ross, Founder/Trainer of/for NH Recovery Coach Academy and Choices Peer Recovery Coach Training will provide a basic of understanding of addiction and the brain, the behaviors of addiction and the why behind them as well as an understanding of what it takes to achieve behavior change.



For those with the Guardian ad Litem Program, this 1.5 hour course does apply towards in-service hours.

Ginger Ross

Ginger Ross, Hampton, NH is the founder/trainer of/for New Hampshire Recovery Coach Academy and Choices Peer Recovery Coach Training. Ginger has worked in the peer recovery field since 2015 when the Peer Recovery Coach role was just taking roots in NH and across the country. Ginger is a trainer and curriculum designer creating addiction recovery trainings that include suicide prevention, Recovery 5 0 for Law Enforcement, Motivational Interviewing, and created the first available Peer Recovery training in Spanish. Ginger has been instrumental in 3 state funded start- up programs integrating the peer coach model and holds a member seat on the NH Governor's Recovery Task Force. Most notably, is her work with the NH program Strength to Succeed – which placed peer recovery coaches in every child welfare office in NH. Currently, Ginger is the program manager for a telehealth company, Boulder Care, which integrates peer recovery coaching with Opioid Agonist therapy and author of her new book, Things I Wish I Learned at 17.Ginger has her Bachelor of Arts in Forensic Psychology (2017) and holds the Certified Recovery Support Worker license in NH (CRSW) as well as a National Peer Credential (NCPRSS).
