Course Description

Two facility dog teams will discuss the vast array of services facility dogs can provide in the spectrum of trauma informed services to dependent children.
The extensive breeding and training program spanning the first two years of their lives uniquely prepares these canines for the rigors of working with not only vulnerable victims, but also professionals in mental health, law, law enforcement, and all aspects of child advocacy.
The workshop will combine information about best practices, but will also highlight all areas where these teams enhance service to children and professionals.
Speakers:  Denise Conus and Brenda Kocher
