Course Description


In this course, we will wrap up your online Guardian ad Litem Pre-Service child advocacy education.  You will gain an understanding of the next steps in your learning process and the enduring Program support available to you as you continue on your journey to become a Guardian ad Litem and make a difference in the life of a child.

By the conclusion of this chapter you should be able to:
•Know where you are in the training process.
•Understand the essential next steps.
•Have a better understanding of Optima as an indispensable tool for documentation and communication with your advocacy team.
•Recognize the importance of self-care in your role as a Volunteer Child Advocate
