Advocating on behalf of children with physical deficits is more about an attitude than possessing various pieces of information.
In this workshop we’ll prove that the statement above. Using a case study, information from academic research and from real life, participants will learn the attitude and learn the tools to advocate on behalf of children with physical deficits. We will discuss everything from basic hygiene to driving a car, pressure sores to adaptive sports.
