Virtual Volunteer Conference: Conditions for Return

Attendees will learn how to understand, assess, and apply the Conditions for Return, the legal standard for considering reunification in Dependency cases.  Participants will learn how to gather and present evidence to support CFR assessments, differences between Conditions for Return and Substantial Compliance, and navigate a scenario to practice assessing Conditions for Return

Paul Karasick, Esq. - Regional Legal Counsel, Florida Guardian ad Litem Office

Paul Karasick is Regional Legal Counsel for the Statewide Guardian ad Litem. He is board certified in juvenile law and has been working in the juvenile dependency system for 10 years. Prior to working for the Guardian ad Litem Office he was a supervising attorney for the Florida Department of Children and Families
