Kanice Hoffman is the Economic Justice Program Specialist for the Office of Domestic Violence at the Florida Department of Children and Families. She has experience as an advocate, subject matter expert, and training specialist, dedicating her career to advancing economic justice and removing systemic barriers that affect vulnerable populations. She has managed Economic Justice programs in northeast Florida most recently expanding her influence statewide.
Kanice’s expertise encompasses a coordinated community response that bridges housing access, economic security, and support for survivors of violence under frameworks like TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families) and VAWA (Violence Against Women Act). Her work not only seeks to support individuals directly but also aims to create sustainable, systemic change within economic and social support systems.
