Course description

The “Keeping Children Safe Act,” was enacted in 2007 to help protect children who have been victims of sexual abuse or exploitation.

The goal of the act is to help keep them safe during visits or other contact with their parents or caregivers.

This CBI Attorney training module should be taken in conjunction with the Dynamics of Sexual Abuse training module.

For those with Optima access, please use "Sexual Abuse/Human Trafficking" as your training topic.  Thank you!

GOOD INSIGHT INTO HOW THE COURT TAKES THE LEGAL STEPS TO KEEPING CHILD SAFE. THERE WERE PLACES WHERE THE PRINT COULD NOT BE ENLARGED, SO IT WAS DIFFICULT TO READ THE TEXT. WAS UNABLE TO PRINT OUT COMPLETION CERTIFICATE
